Reckless in the Fortnight...

Beneath the dark sky on a starless night,
The curious moon sings a lullaby;
Wind kisses the face, reckless in the fortnight.

Standing there with the guilts, lies and regrets,
In the solitude that spoke a thousand words;
Those tears which melted the ice, reckless in the fortnight.

In the midst of reality, shattered dreams and betrayals,
Beliefs and burning desires standstill;
Wishful dreams, love and happiness still blossom, reckless in fortnight.

The shattered soul waits for dear ones,
Too much to say but hope is thin;
The thorns hurt but roses still spring, reckless in the fortnight.
